Garden Landscaping Project 183
Here we created a two tier garden, with a large lower seating area with a variety of planting spaces, both raised and curved. We also installed central steps with the retaining wall leading up to an upper lawn area. The original garden was sloping in all directions, and had the footings and blockwork of the surrounding retaining walls exposed in different areas. We did our best to level the garden in such a way to hide these features, and create useable space at the same time. We also installed a simple planting scheme, low voltage outdoor lighting, and weed-block membrane and slate chippings in the borders for a neat, easy to maintain appearance.
